El pasado sábado al rededor de las 11 de la noche, me encontraba durmiendo en mi cama, cuando mi teléfono móvil sonó. Lo cogí. Era una amiga mía. estaba sufriendo un ataque de ansiedad, e intentaba decirme algo entre llantos, lo que hacía imposible entender nada de lo que decía. Le dije que se tranquilizara y que me contara qué era lo que había ocurrido. Una vez que conseguí calmarla, Me dijo que se había comprado un videojuego por internet hace unos días; el Pokémon Rojo Fuego, y que hoy, cuando lo estrenó, se dio cuenta de que no tenía pegatina, pero eso no lo preocupó, pero por la parte de atrás, donde está el tornillo, se podía ver claramente que estaba rallado. Pensó que el antiguo dueño lo habría vendido defectuoso, así que lo probó, y... funcionaba. Pero funcionaba de una manera extraña y preocupante. No seguía el guión normal del juego, parecía modificado, de manera que mostraba una serie de sucesos aterradores y creaba una atmósfera tétrica para el jugador, (obviamente, no lo dijo con estas palabras). Me llamó a mí para que le explicara que le ocurría, ya que sabía que domino un poco el tema de edición de videojuegos. Le dije que lo primero era no preocuparse, pues editar videojuegos no es imposible; que me enviara un correo electrónico, contando TODO lo que le había ocurrido desde que empezó a jugar, y que me dejase el cartucho en cuanto pudiera.

When I closed the Pokédex, I appeared again where I've found Unownking , and another message appeared, saying: You have released the Beast. When I closed it, the game automatically saved. So I had exactly 666 play time hours! I checked my team, but now I hadn't got any Pokémon.
The game began to get me feel nervous. I left the chamber and went to Violet City, to pick some Pokémon from Bill's PC. During the journey to the city I noticed something strange, in addition to the Unown radio music was still playing, but I just realized when I entered in the Pokémon centre. There was no one! Sprites were gone! When I looked inside the PC I found that of the 20 boxes virtually full, now there were only two Pokémon in Pandora's Box. A level 20 Staryu and Sandshrew I left there before. I did not know what was going on, so I wandered around Jotho. There was no sprite in any city or route, not even in the houses.I read the following step from the article:4 Wait the call. Whith fever and dream, I was beginning to feel sick, but I wanted to know what happened, and then I knew where to go. Before left home I looked in Spring Village, to see if there was someone, but as I feared, there was nobody. Any sprite around Jotho.  
Now I knew I had to go to Kanto, but couldn't get the Ferry or Magnetotren, then I realized why I have just those 2 pokemon, to go surfing to Kanto. But before going to see Oak, I walked around Kanto to see if there were anyone. Just seemed to be Mr Fuji in Lavender Town, I talked to him, and said: I am very busy lately. That's when I realized what was happening: Unownking had killed all the people and Pokémon in the game, as its Pokédex page said. After talking, probably, to the last person in the game, I went to Pallet Town. I had no Fly, but neither was Pokémon in the grass or water, so I didn't  be long in arrive there. There was noone, not in the Red's House, nor Blue's House. I entered in the laboratory of Oak. As I expected there wasn't a person  sprite, but where normally is Professor Oak, was an Unown sprite. I figured what I had to do, so I put my sprite in front of it and pressed A. Unownking's cry souned and the battle against it started. It was at level 100, and equipped with leftovers. It finished soon with  my Pokémon, but when he weakened the last of my Pokémon, the trainer continued the battle. I was at level 10, I knew I was not going to do anything against this beast. I thought about turning off the console, but then thought better, I wanted to know how it would end, maybe it would never happen to me again. Overall, it was a game what could happen to me? 
My trainer only knew struggle, but I couldn't use it because Unownking attacked first. It used bite, and my trainer weakened. A message saying ''suseJ has died'' appeadred. The screen went black for a few seconds, and then a sprite of a man dressed in black, as Professor Oak is shown at the beginning of the game. He said: suseJ! You have released the beast and sentenced to the human race. I couldn't have done it without you. Then the screen went black, and after a minute, normal intro started playing with Lugia flying in the blue sky. I couldn't countinue the game saved, only start a new game.
 It was 4:30 AM, so I turned off the console and tried to sleep. I was sick and tired. That night I dreamed I was the King Unown, and was wandering the world looking for my next victim. Do not know if this was a morbid joke, or really had a ''supernatural origin'', I only do know  I spent a month without stopping to think about it and every time I think about it makes my creeps, and even occasionally I have nightmares about it. If it was a joke (I hope it) I think it was a joke of a satanic: The 3 am the time of Lucifer, 666 hours of gameplay, suseJ is Jesus backwards, not to mention the releasing of the Beast. I am sure of one thing, have played that game has left me scarred for life.

LA MALDICIÓN DEl REY UNOWN

¿Qué son los Unowns? ¿Qué es esa extraña señal que puedes captar por la radio en las Ruinas Alfa? ¿Tiene algún papel en el videojuego? ¿Es cierto el rumor del Rey Unown?

Esto me ocurrió a mi, la pasada Navidad:
Serían alrededor de las 11 de la noche del día de Nochebuena. Mis padres no estaban en casa, y no volverían hasta el día siguiente, pues estaban de fiesta en casa de mis abuelos. En circunstancias normales habría ido, pero me encontraba enfermo.
Así que allí estaba yo, solo en mi casa, con 37 y medio de fiebre, viendo la tele, cuando de repente, el timbre de mi casa sonó. Fuí a ver quien era, no esperaba ninguna visita, y me constaba que mis padres no podían ser, pues el pueblo de mis abuelos está a hora y media de donde yo vivo, y me habían llamado para avisarme de que ya habían llegado hacía tan solo un cuarto de hora. Miré por la mirilla para ver quién era, pero no había nadie. Supusé que sería un bromista borracho, ya se sabe, en la noche de Nochebuena... Abrí la puerta para gritarle las cuarenta, pero cuando abrí la puerta me encontre con un paquete en el rellano. ¡Vaya! Parecía que Papa Noel se había adelantado este año, no se quien habría picado, pero en aquel momento me pareció una persona bastante generosa, pero para mi desgracia, mi desengaño no tardó en llegar.

Metí el paquete en mi casa y lo abrí. Dentro de él había un sobre en el que aparecía escrito: Quédatelo, ya no lo quiero. y una copia de pokemon plata, el original. En aquel momento eso me pareció genial, pues tenía muy buenos recuerdos de aquel juego, y al mío se le había acabado la pila interna, haciendo imposible guardar la partida. Cogí mi vieja Gameboy Advance SP y comenzó mi viciada. Pero antes abrí el sobre para ver lo que había dentro. Había una nota con instrucciones a seguir. Todavía a día de hoy la conservo junto con el juego, y dice así: Hola, si estás leyendo esto, es porque tienes mi juego, y ya que te lo he regalado, te pido por favor que los continues hasta el punto que te digo en esta carta, luego puedes jugar libremente.
Bueno, ya que me lo has regalado, pensé, ¿qué menos puedo hacer por tí? Seguí leyendo: 1º No empieces nueva partida, continúa la mía ya guardada. Tengo capturados a los tres perros legendarios, y le he entregado la GSBALL a César, así que en cuanto vayas a hablar con él podrás capturar a Celebi. Tengo capturados 248 Pokémon, a parte de Celebi me faltan Lugia y Ho-oh, por favor captúralos y completa la pokédex.
!Joder! ¡Qué suerte! Me lo había servido todo prácticamente en bandeja. Lo cierto es que me hacía ilusión completar la pokédex, así que me puse a ello. Continué el juego que ya había empezado su antiguo dueño y me puse a comprobar sus datos. El nombre del entrenador era SUSEJ, un poco extraño para el nombre del entrenador, pero ya os contaré luego lo que significa, sino os habeís dado cuenta ya por vosotros mismos. Mi equipo constaba de Houndoom, Lapras y Slowbro, a los niveles 66, 32 y 63 respectivamente, y un Sandshrew, un Abra y un Pidgey a niveles muy bajos, que seguramente los tenía para usar las MO. Tenía las 16 medallas y el límite de dinero. Tiempo de juego 662:50 o por ahí (eso me hizo pensar que el anterior dueño era un viciado) y el Pokégear marcaba sobre las 11:50 PM del sábado, la misma hora y día de la semana que en el que estaba jugando. En aquel momento eso solo me pareció coincidencia. Una vez conocidos mis datos, comencé a jugar. Primero capturé a Celebi, ya que nada más empezar me encontraba en Pueblo Azalea, y era el que me quedaba más cerca. Pensaba que solo se podía capturar en la versión Cristal, pero bueno, hice todo el proceso, fuí a hablar con César, recibí la GSBALL, luego fuí al encinar, la deposite en el monumento al guardián del bosque, y comenzó la batalla con Celebi. Me hizo mucha ilusión capturarlo, ya que sin un evento especial no se puede conseguir. Lo capturé despues de un rato, cuando me cansé de tirarle pokeballs normales y le lancé una masterball (de 3 que tenía), y apareció el mensaje diciendo que había sido transferido al PC de Bill, a la caja de Pandora. ¿La caja de Pandora? Supuse que sería una broma. Para el que no lo sepa, la caja de Pandora es un mito, creo que griego, que dice que si se abre, saldrían de ella demonios y cosas así y la raza humana quedaría condenada. Sin darle demasiada importancia, ya que el nombre de las cajas se podía cambiar, continué y capturé a los otros dos legendarios que me quedaban. Fue fácil, como ya dije antes, tenía las masterballs necesarias. Una vez capturados todos los legendarios, y con ello completada la pokédex, continué leyendo las instrucciones que me dio el antiguo dueño:
2º Ahora que has capturado todos los legendarios, crea el siguiente equipo: Mew, Celebi, Ho-oh, Lugia, Suicune y Moltres. Espera a que el Pokégear marque las 3 AM para realizar el siguiente paso.
Entonces era la una de la mañana en el juego, y como marcaba la misma hora que era en realidad, tuve que mantenerme despierto yo también hasta las tres. No me importo, me lo pasaba bien jugando a aquel juego. Fuí a hablar con Oak, a ver que me decía de la Pokédex, fuí a Ciudad Azulona a por el diploma que certificaba que había completado la Pokédex, derroté a Rojo, y y eche un vistazo a las demás cajas ¡El tío habí capturado incluso los 4 MissingNo.!
Seguí haciendo tonterías así hasta que me percate de que ya eran las 2:45 AM. Así que leí el siguiente paso:
3º Cuando sean las 3 AM ve a las Ruinas Alfa, entra en la cámara principal, y ve hasta la última estatua que hay siguiendo el pasillo hacia abajo. En frente de ella pon la Radio Unown, y habla con ella.
Así lo hice, fuí tirando hacia las Ruinas Alfa, cogí el Magnetotren, pues me encontraba en Kanto, y de ciudad Trigal hacia mi destino fuí andando, pues tenía tiempo de sobra. Cuando por fin llegue eran las 2:58, así que estuve 2 minutos esperando en frente de la estatua, ya con la Radio Unown puesta. Ese ruido me ponía bastante nervioso.
Cuando por fin el Pokégear marcaba las 3 AM, hable con la estatua. Emitió el ruido de un Pokemon, pero no me sonaba a ninguno que conociese. Y comenzaron a salir cuadros de texto: Mew, ya no está. y el grito de Mew. Celebi ya no está. Y su grito, y así hasta que nombraron a todos los Pokémon de mi equipo. Y al final salió otro cuadro de texto: El sacrificio de tu Equipo ha permitido la liberación de El Rey Unown.
Cuando cerré el cuadro de texto la pantalla se volvió negra por unos 2 segundos, y despues apareció en la página del Rey Unown en la Pokédex, que decía algo así: Esta feroz bestia puede dormir durante siglos, y cuando despierta mata lo que sea para alimentarse. No tenía ningún número. Y su grito era el que había sonado antes. Era azul oscuro como los Unown, pero su forma solo se parecía a ellos en la cabeza en la que tenía 3 pinchos, como si de una corona se tratase, y un solo ojo. A diferencia de los Unown, este tenía cuerpo, patas y unos brazos terminados en pinzas, manchadas de rojo, supongo que podría ser sangre.



Cuando cerré la Pókedex, aparecí de nuevo en donde había encontrado al Rey Unown, y otro mensaje apareció diciendo, ''Has liberado a la Bestia.''Y cuando lo cerré, el juego  se guardó automáticamente. ¡Tenía entonces exactamente 666 horas de juego! Miré mi equipo, pero ahora no tenía ningún Pokémon. El juego empezó a ponerme nervioso. Salí de la cámara y me dirigí a Ciudad Violeta, a recoger algun Pokémon del PC. Durante el trayecto hacia dicha ciudad noté que había algo extraño, además de que la música de la Radió Unown seguía sonando allá a donde fuera,  pero solo me di cuenta en cuanto entre en el centro Pokémon. ¡No había ninguna persona! ¡Los sprites habían desaparecido! Cuando miré dentro del PC me encontré con que de las 20 cajas prácticamente llenas, ahora solo había dos Pokémon en la Caja de Pandora. Un Staryu a nivel 20 y el Sandshrew de antes. No sabía que estaba pasando, así que estuve deambulando por todo Jotho. No había ningún sprite en ninguna ciudad, ni ruta, nisiquiera en las casas.
Leí el siguiente paso de la nota:
4º Espera la llamada.
¿La llamada? ¿De quién? No sabía quién me tenía que llamar, así que abrí el Pokégear, y miré los números, solo estaban Elm y mi madre. Llamé a Elm, pero apareció un mensaje que decía: Parece que no contesta... Y cuando llamé a mi madre me salió el texto de siempre.
Ya eran las 3:30 y aún nadie me había llamado. Ya había pateado casi todo Jotho, y no había ni una persona, en la hierba tampoco salían Pokémon. Por fin llegó la llamada. Era de mi madre, decía  ''!Hijo por favor ven a casa rápid...''  sonó el grito del Rey Unown y se acabó la llamada.
Enté la fiebre y el sueño yo ya empezaba a sentirme mal, pero quería saber que pasaba, y ahora sabía a donde ir. En mi casa no había nadie, pero en la parte de arriba parecía que había una nota en la pared, la leí, decía: 5º y último: Ve a ver a Oak.
Antes de ir miré en las casas de Pueblo Primavera, para ver si había alguien, pero como ya me temía, no había nadie. Ni un sprite en todo Jotho. Ahora sabía que tenía que ir a Kanto, pero no podía coger ni el Ferri ni el Magnetotren, entonces comprendí porque tenía justo esos 2 pokemon, para poder ir haciendo surf hasta Kanto. No obstante antes de ir a ver a Oak di una vuelta por Kanto para ver si había alguien. Solo parecía estar Mr Fuji en Pueblo Lavanda, hable con él, y me dijo: Últimamente estoy muy atareado.
Fue entonces cuando comprendí lo que pasaba: El Rey Unown había matado a todas las personas y Pokémon del juego, de ahí lo que ponía su página de la Pokédex.
Después de hablar con la posible última persona del juego, fuí a Pueblo Paleta. No tenía vuelo, pero tampoco había Pokémon en la hierba ni el agua, así que no tarde en llegar. Allí tampoco había nadie, ni en la casa de Rojo, ni la de Azul. Entré en el laboratorio de Oak. Como era de esperar ni un sprite de persona, pero donde normalmente se encuentra el profesor Oak, estaba el sprite de un Unown. Supuse lo que tenía que hacer, así que me puse en frente de él y pulse la A. Sonó el gritó del Rey Unown y comenzó la batalla contra él. Estaba a nivel 100, y por si fuera poco equipado con restos. Acabó con mis Pokémon en poco tiempo, pero en cuanto se debilitó el último de mis Pokémon, la batalla la continuó el entrenador. Estaba a nivel 10, ya sabía que no iba a poder hacer nada contra aquel bicho. Pensé en apagar la consola, pero luego pensé mejor, me dije que sino veía como acababa, me quedaría con la intriga porque igual no volvería a ocurrirme esto. Total, era un juego ¿qué me podía pasar?
Mi entrenador solo conocía combate, pero no llego a usarlo porque el Rey Unown atacó primero. Usó mordisco, y mi entrenador se debilitó. Salió un mensaje diciendo SUSEJ ha muerto. La pantalla se puso negra unos segundos, y despues apareció el sprite de un hombre vestido de negro, como aparece al principio del juego el Profesor Oak. Me dijo lo siguiente: ¡SUSEJ! Acabas de liberar a la Bestia y condenado a la raza humana. No podría haberlo hecho sin ti. Después la pantalla se puso en negro, y tras un minuto, empezó la intro normal del juego, con Lugia volando en el cielo azul. No estaba la partida anterior guardada, solo podía empezar una nueva. Ya eran las 4:30 AM, así que apagué la consola y traté de dormir, ya que estaba enfermo y cansado. Esa noche soñé que era el Rey Unown, e iba vagando por el mundo en busca de mi próxima víctima.
No se si esto se trató de una broma mórbida, o realmente tuvo un ''origen sobrenatural'', lo que si sé es que estuve un mes sin parar de pensar en ello y que cada vez que me acuerdo de ello se me ponen los pelos de punta, e incluso de vez en cuando tengo pesadillas con ello. De ser una broma (que espero que eso sea) creo que se trató de la broma de un sátanico o algo así: Las 3 de la mañana es la hora de Lucifer, que justo coincido con las 666 horas de juego, SUSEJ es Jesús al revés, por no mencionar la liberación de la Bestia. De una cosa estoy seguro, haber jugado a ese juego me ha dejado marcado de por vida.
